Type what you need to do, and Tandem’s AI asks the right questions, builds a plan with subtasks, and saves everything structured and ready to go. Once your tasks are in, Tandem helps you decide what to actually work on today — surfacing must-dos, flagging deadlines, and suggesting what to tackle next based on your priorities.

Key concepts

Tasks are the core unit. Every task has a title, priority, optional deadline, category, tags, and subtasks. Most of this gets filled in automatically through conversation. Projects group related tasks together. Each project can have its own set of categories to keep things organized. Today is Tandem’s daily plan — a curated list of what to focus on right now, generated fresh each day. The CLI lets you manage everything from your terminal, including a full AI-assisted task creation flow.
